Start muss nicht sein.
Durch die 3D-gedruckten Festbrennstoffkörner sind alle STAR-3D ™ -Hybridmotoren nahezu identisch, wodurch Konstruktionsanomalien reduziert werden. Der Kraftstoff (ABS) und das Oxidationsmittel (flüssiger Sauerstoff) sind ungefährlich und bei Raumtemperatur stabil, wodurch die Wahrscheinlichkeit einer Detonation des Motors verringert wird. Das zweiteilige Design des STAR-3D ™ bedeutet auch, dass es während des Starts weniger Wartung und Überwachung erfordert. Die STAR-3D ™ -Hybrid-Engine kombiniert beide Methoden des 3D-Drucks von Schlüsselkomponenten und verwendet bereits vorhandene Standardteile. Dadurch wird die Möglichkeit von Fehlstarts begrenzt.
Darüber hinaus besteht der STAR-3D ™ -Hybridmotor bei Raumtemperatur aus ungefährlichen Materialien. Es wirkt nur unter den richtigen Bedingungen wie eine Rakete.
